None of the children's/petting area animals were out, which was a disappointment for us Butterflies and kangaroos specifically.Īnd with everyone feeding the giraffes, there were no giraffes to just see from the other side for free. We were very disappointed that there were parts of the zoo that we had to pay extra to visit. And I think the large cat exhibits don't have big enough barriers for current recommendations. The enclosures for the large animals seemed small for them. Perhaps my zoo expectations are high as I live in an area with high ranking zoos and therefore my perception is askew
